What do you do when you found two baby bunnies in a hole and your friends want to keep them put you know there wild and they should be left alone?

Baby bunnies only really see there mums for a few minutes a day for a feed. There mum has proberbly gone to eat for the day and left them there. How did you get done the hole to find them? Are they feral or tame?
Sorry should have stated this reply is for feral rabbits. Normal cage rabbits are with their parents all the time.
