Lower right back pain

Asked by karekare 25 days ago, 5 answers.

My mom said she has had pain in her lower back, on the right side, and it hurts when she urinates. This happened for a week. What could this be?

It's POSSIBLE it's a kidney stone, but it's also likely it's a urinary tract infection that has spread to her kidneys since it hurts when she urinates. Regardless, we're all far-removed, and I've not yet encountered a doctor on this site. It's foolish to rely on a bunch of teenagers and adults (who aren't medical professionals) for a medical diagnosis. happy Tell her to go get checked out.

Then she'll either get over it on her own, or it'll get so bad she'll HAVE to go in; either way, you can't really help somebody who is stubborn and unwilling to go in.
