What color highlights should I get for dark brown hair?

Ok.im 42 and I would like to know what color highlights would look good for my hair.its dark brown.

if you just want some variation, get some highlights and low lights. you'd be much better off asking your stylist about that. it really all depends on your skin and hair tone. he or she is a professional that should be able to take three looks at you and run their fingers through your hair and give you the best advice. (if you want to really have fun, throw some red tones in there. ) good luck.
