Can you get sick from the ink stuff inside a glow up stick?

I was at a school dance today and somones glow in the dark stick broke so I picked it up and put the ink stuff all over my arms so I glowed. A lot of people were telling me that it was poisonious if you put it on your skin but being me with my “I don’t care” attitude, I put it on anyways. I was just wondering if they were right. IS it posinious if you put it on skin?

I’ve been drunk at a dance were someone had one and I got it on my arms and neck, and it my mouth. I was ok. you’ll be fine

The liquid light source is non-toxic, no heat or harmful radiation is produced. Contact with the eyes or ingesting of the fluid should be avoided, as irritation will result. There is also the possibility of allergic reaction. But that depends what kind of brand you buy :)
