What can i drink or do to help warm up my voice before choir?

Asked by katie_the_horse_lady about 1 year ago, 3 answers.

I've been having troubles with my voice lately, because I'm just getting over a cold...And at choir, no matter how much I warm up I almost always mess up during the song, wether by screeching, having the urge to cough, or not being able to sing high...

pitches like I use to...Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do to clear up my voice?

Blondie, I'm sorrie, but no. Thats the worst thing you could drink for singing. Water, and lemon juice and water mix usually clears your throat pretty well, you might just want to GARGLE the lemon water, not swallow.

Blondie1 is wrong. Don't drink soda! I drink water before I record my youtube videos. It really helps me.
