Why do people dislike hilary clinton?

Everywhere I go I hear shudders when Clinton is mentioned, but I've yet to have heard of any reasons as to why she is disliked by so many. Please excuse my ignorance, I am very new to the world of politics.

where should I start?
both of the clintons have been schooled in socialism.
both are highly against private gun ownership.
do we really want bill clinton running around the whitehouse again?
shes a DEMOCRAT
any woman who would tolerate her husbands many affairs has a larger agenda.

I personally do not trust the woman and what she stands for.
I believe it is time that we had a female president - just not hillary clinton.

She seems to create strong responses in people - one American told my husband: 'you either love her or you hate her, there's no middle ground'. Personally, I don't dislike her and (appart from the truly awful sexual behaviour) I also liked her husband as president. Remember that he was more than just a lying adulterer - Winston Churchill and many other great leaders were not judged according to their sexual weaknesses, and I don't think that Europe judges Bill Clinton according to his. (Although we do think it was pathetic.) As I don't get to vote for any of them, I must admit I'm not yet that well informed, but that's just my impressions from the other side of the pond.

Just because she is really good.I am a centrist democrat,and so bad the media destroy her and the DNC went silence when obama supporters used the race card on her.She mighty not be easy to get arround,but she was my last hope,and belive to bribg back the great days Bill Clinton.The Obamicans are not real republicans,they just hate her.Hillary 2012.

You should probably do some research on Hillary yourself like wiki to start with and make up your own mind about her. a lot of people dislike other people just because it's popular but if you ask them why they have no good answer. As far as I know Hillary never did anything wrong so it seems a little strange why so many people dislike her.

I dont hate her.But obama seems to be a better alternative..He brings something new,some new perspective.But hillary continues the clinton legacy..

And it would be terrible to have that man running around in the White House again. After all the last time he was doing that we had the best economy out of the last thirty years.

baldwinwolf and I obviously disagree on this subject (tho' not entirely on the gun issue) and anything we say will be highly slanted, mostly polarized by our feelings on Bill Clinton.

Some of you best info in my opinion will be news magazines (!), like Time or Newsweek. I encourage EVERYONE to pay some attention and when it comes time --- VOTE.

I think the Republicans are scared of what she'll do if she becomes the next president...

And so maybe she does have an agenda... so what? maybe she is ambitious and wants to become the next president... maybe she wants to make a difference in the world... why is that a bad thing? so maybe she stayed with her husband because she wants to become the president... if a man did that it would be strategic... because she's a woman, its coniving... its amazing, americans claim to be the most forward thinking country in the world, and yet the amount of sexism out there is unbelievable!
