What are the pro's and cons of going on contract with my phone..??

how can I convince my boyfriend that I want to stay on pay as you go with my phone... he's tryna get me to go on contract but I don't want to!!!

One thing I make a point of is that you can't get into debt with pay-as-you-go. If you're worried about running up huge phone bills, pay-as-you-go prevents that from happening.

Also, as is outlined above, it's your choice, tell him to back off and let you choose for yourself.

Being on a phone plan builds credit for you. However, you are right you an get into debt and if you are not sure about what your income is going to be like in the future you probably want to hold off. Also if anything happens with your relationship you are stuck on a plan with him until your 2 year contract is over unless you want to pay a ridiculous 175 cancellation fee.

If pay as you go is working for you right now stick with it, there is no need to rush into a contract.

I would not waste my time being on a pay as you go phone, to put into perspective unlimted texts to any network anytime daily capped usage 3000texts unlimited calls to any network any time daily capped usuage 3000mins for an 18 month contract £15 and on a really good nokia phone, but theres plently of these offers out and about you will pay more or less depending on what type of contract you want and the make of the phone but I never go over my bills and I use to spend near near a couple of hundred per a month on a pay as you go, and my pay monthly works out that I paid for the phone and really the services wer free unlimted texts and calls I have got a samsung i8910hd phone as soon as it was out in europe and im payin £30 a month with orange. I would seriously recommend it to everyone because you get stroked in pay as you go.
