it is true that some of the versions make some women gain weight. It doesnt happen for everyone so its worth a try. It didnt effect me at all in that way and I am sensitive to hormone levels. Maybe if you put on weight easily now it will more likely cause you to on the pill? im not sure but think about that. However-good news- if what you're put on makes you gain weight it usually happens quite quickly and you can come off of that pill and lose the weight quickly
