you should measure at the natural bend of the waist...
if you’re not sure what that is...
stand in front of a mirror and bend your mid-section directly to the right side, you should see a crease in the skin (or fat lol) on your side place your right hand on that then (while leaving right hand in place) bend to the left side once again you will see the crease! Now place your left hand there then stand up straight both hands are now sitting on each side of your natural waist line!! that is where the standard measurements are generally taken...
