Do you know any simple games or crafts for senior citizens?

I am 14 and voulenteering at a senior center, and we ussually do crafts with the elderly. But I can't think of any good crafts. Do you know any simple games or crafts? thanx

I've volunteered at a senior home before!! and one arts and crafts that they really enjoied was arranging cut up flowers in a flower pot (with this green spounge, that was firm, but soaks up water, and is able to have flowers sick through)! ahaha... and as for a game... they love bingo! another fun thing I put together for them was a art/poetry night!! =)

I've done a horse race game for sr. citizens before. make a long race track by making some a felt graph, like a foot wide and 4 feet long, 6 lanes wide and 10 or 15 spaces long. I made mine green, like grass. then you get 6 toy horses from wal mart, and a giant dice. number the horses 1 through 6, line 'em up, and start rolling the dice. if it's a big foam dice, you can let the old people throw it. otherwise maybe they can blow on it for good luck, or something. whatever the dice lands on, move that horse up one space. you can make the old people pick a horse to root for, if you want. first one across the finish line wins. it'll get some old people going again. live the dream.

Well, I don't know what kind of crafts you could do with the seeniors but, simple games you could do are bingo, cards, puzzles, I don't know anything else.

Well, good for you. Too often the elderly are forgotten. How about growing their own garden? Perhaps a small plot of land at the center. They could grow tomatoes or flowers or whatever they want. many seniors lived during the depression and had gardens. Also there were Victory gardens during WWII. Remember, they are not children and like to do adult things.
They might also enjoy a sing-a-long with songs from their era.
