Oh no!. When the log on screen appears, Did the administrator accounts appeared? It should appear besides your other admin accounts. It sucks if the one that install the Windows 2000 also put password to the administrator.
I have another idea, do you know how to clear CMOS RAM? But if not you can reprogram your laptop, upgrade it to higher version of windows, like xp. That's only good if you don't have any important files stored to your laptop.

I think you have to use reset windows password software. For example, Windows Password Reset, The program will enable you to reset the password to Blank with no -reformatting or installation. Do all the job for you automatically. It's worth a try.

Hello everyone on here,
I have a Windows 2000 Professional laptop that the accounts that I knew passwords were accidentally terminated and I do not know the passwords to the old accounts. I no longer have a working floppy drive, or cd drive, (power cord...
issues with the cd, and cannot find any replacements. I do not know the Service Pack, or if it has the BIOS ability to boot from a Universal Serial Bus Drive, I have tried it, and it does not seem to work. Is there any other way to log on to it now?
(P.S. the computer is a Toshiba Portege 7000 CT.)
