How do I update my Android tablet if the System Update button is missing?

So about a year or so ago, I bought a cheap Android tablet. I never really did learn how to use it, but I was talking with a friend at school today and he gave me a few pointers, so I decided to give it another try. I want to update it (right now it’s version 2.2.1), but when I try to find out how to update it, all the tutorials say to go Settings–>About Tablet–>System Update…., but there is no System Updates button on my tablet. Do I have to download the update on my computer and transfer it onto my tablet? Where can I do this? I want to try to make my tablet work, but I need to update it first. Below are the pictures of my entire “about device” section. Thanks in advance for any help!

Answer #2

Yes, but it didn’t, and there is no System Updates button for me to do it manually. Is there a way for me to try a total reset or something? I’m totally clueless when it comes to android.

Answer #3

Maybe call the manufacturer

Answer #4

Just visit the service center, its the better option. Otherwise in Android there is no option of updation.
