How do I uninstall Internet Explorer if it's not located in the Add or Remove programs?

I only know how to do it with XP -- but here:

First you go to your start menu - Control panel - Add or Remove Programs -
Now on the left menu you'll see different options, so click 'Add/Remove Windows components'. Now all you need to do it uncheck the box beside 'Internet Explorer' and click next, it'll guide you through. Its quick and simple happy

you have to remove it form the registry because all computers come with internet explorer engraved in the hard drive.
