Undergraduates and graduates?

What is the difference between undergraduates and graduates. Are freshman and sophmore the undergraduates? Are junior and senior graduates? I'm so confused.

The term 'Undergraduate' refers to people who have not graduated college yet. Once people graduate and come back for additional degrees they are called 'graduate' students.

Freshmen through seniors are all undergrads. People working on masters and docterates are grads.
