Can someone help me with this please?
Im 16 and want to model. I did have a job but they wanted me to pay them. And that's not right.

Um, if I model it DEFF. would be plus size modeling.

I live in West Virginia, US.
Can someone help me find a website I can join (preferably free) that could maybe help. Or possibly a name of a agency I could look up..
Maybe advice for me.
Anything you can give me would be great.

Its really hard to be a top model. You need to look after your hair nad skin, nails etc. You also need a unique look to get into modeling or you will end up being in the kmart catalogue. Without being mean I dont think you really have what it takes to be a super model but theres no reason why you couldnt get a little bit of work fashion shoots etc if you got your hair done and looked after your skin a bit better. Try to ask around your are to see if anyone knows any agencys that are taking on new clients. There are some mean ones out there so research well. If I upset you I didnt mean to but when your in the modeling industry start to expect harsher comments than that.

Hi hun, it sounds like you didn't have a "job" but an agency. An agency will often want you to pay however the best ones won't, like Storm in London (they manage people like Kate Moss), But these agencies are extremely hard to get into as they make their money by taking a percentage of the money you are given for a shoot/job and so will only sign up people who they think will get them lots of money.
Go to http://www.models.com and at the top right hand side theres a little "signup" hyperlink. You could sign up onto this, they basically are there to advertise you to agencies but you are also able to contact agencies by it. Also there will occasionally be adverts for a open castings (this is where anyone can go to the casting which, if you get it, then leads to a shoot).
Sometimes competitions are a good way to start your modelling career (I believe Cindy Crawford came into modelling by this). You could try googling "modelling competitions". But be careful! If they ask you for an entry fee DO NOT do it! Also make sure you check up on all the sponsers (If they don't have any, chances are it's a scam).
Hope this helped and sorry it's such an essay! x

try to sign with an agency. make a portfolio and try different agencies. if you REALLY want to model try Elite Modle Managment, IMG models, VNY Managment, or Ford Models. But you have 2 be like at least 5'7
