Train lovebirds

I have a pair of lovebirds about 4 years old right now. I try to train them, but they keep biting me and when I try to take them out of the cage, the fly all around the house. Does anybody know what I can do?

From what I read, they are very smart with an IQ of a 3-year-old human! I never knew!
