you could get another trusted adult and have them take you. they will ask for the person you take with you id. so to get past the fact that your last names don't match say that your parents just divorced, but make sure the person is oldenough to be your mom

You do realise that once your tongue is peirced, your parents _are_ going to know you've got it?

If you want to get your tongue peirced without your parents permission, thats up to you, but make sure that you get it done properly and at a proper place - else if done improperly, or you don't take care of it properly afterwards your tongue might get infected and swell up big time (always a risk if you get it done properly anyway), and you might then have to go to the doctor and go on antibiotics (not cool).

Yeah I agree with the last guy. For one, it is in your mouth. If you talk your parents will see it. Even with a plug it is noticeable. Two, after you get it done you will sound like you're talking with a retainer in. I wouldn't do it if I were you. It's really dangerous and all it will do is advertise to people that you s.d. (if you know what i mean)

Try and wait on that one. You will have alot of time to do that when you are older. If you are not careful it could get infected etc..

I got my tongue pierced a while ago, without my parents knowing. I spent a whole day with em and they didnt realise til I told them. my friend (we got our tongues pierced together) said her tongue was swollen for a few days (excuse my english XD) and she has had the piercing for 2 months now, and her dad still doesnt know.
BUT, if your going to tell anyone at school about your tongue, dont tell them your parents dont know. the principal threatened me and told me if I didnt tell my parents they would call them. so dont make that mistake,

ok 1st of all, it all depends on how much u talk to your parents. they are not stupid.if it is your first time, u might act a little wierd because of the swelling on your tongue, definitely your going to talk different. if your good at playing it off then fine but its an uncomfortable feeling when u first get it pierced. and depending on where u go, sometimes your tongue bleeds a little bit during the couple days that its healing. mine bled just a little bit but its completely healed now, well im in a different situation than u are cause actually my mom took me to get it done the first time... but this is my 3rd time having it done. POINT IS, I dont think u should do it cause your parents will eventually notcie cause u might accidenally laugh where your tungs all visible or when u say something, they might b able to see the metal in your mouth

when I got my tongue pierced, it didnt swell at ALL. I know most peoples do, but mine didnt it just hurt if anything touched it for about a week.
the novelty wore off tho, and I took it out after 5 months. I just got bored of it, and a lot of people think it looks trashy.
I think u shud think about it LOADS before and make sure it is something u REALLY REALLY want because u may just end up regretting it babe.

you should wait till your 16 I have just got mine done and you cant talk for about 4 days and it hurts a lot

I just got mine done on friday without my parents knowing.
If I didn't tell them they wouldnt have an idea at all.
it doesnt hurt, the jewelry being put in hurt more.
But I advise you do tell them,
it's too much work to talk normal and eating takes a long time.
My parents didnt even get mad, they just wanted me to wait till I was 18, which is like 10 months from now.
drink a lot of ice water, and use non-alcohol mouth wash and you should be fine!
