every good and perfect thing is from God. I would just like to say that 'bad people' in our eyes are not 'bad people' in God's eyes. God loves us all more than we could ever know and He wants us all to be saved. God blesses people all the time who dont deserve it. I mean, who does? None of us deserve anything God's given us. Some could say that since God cant find any Christians to do what He wants them to do, He's getting who He can get to do them. For instance, if He cant get any Christians to go serve at the homeless shelter and give money to the children's hospital, He'll give Susie down the street a raise and promotion on the job bc He knows that she will give to the hospital and serve at the shelter, though she is not Christian. That's how I feel about it. The grace of God is not limited to just Christians. We all experience the grace and mercy of God! hope I helped!

Maybe he thinks they deserve a second chance.. Think about it this way.. God is forgiving, and this could be a sign of him forgiving one, and I know we wonder a lot about why we are here... what we are doing here, and how everything could come about the way it does, but that is why we have faith, and believe god's word.. and never question him... good luck! :]

This is a pretty good question.
God does things that we as people don't understand... And this is one of them...

We're God's children... every single one of us...

And when we do bad things do our parents just give up on us?... Nope. Not the good parents at least... They work HARDER at leading us down the right road...

Welll I kinda think that's what God's doing.

And also I agree with superfresh... Forgiveness... and second chances.

God uses even the unsaved for His purpose - the 'Big Picture' - it's also possible He knows that bad person later will be saved and His grace is affording hm protection now, knowing later in life, this person will serve Him for His Honor and Glory - that is my belief...Hope this helps !!

it all really has to do with free will. God blessed man with the right to be able to choose and to be accountable for our actions. sometimes, good things happen to bad people. sometimes bad things happen to good people. but it's all for the best. we grow from our experiences...we learn... we gain more faith and understanding.

someday, we will all be accountable for our actions. living righteously will pay off in the end.

I think it's just about unconditional love. I don't love my kids because they are good or because they love me, I just love my kids. The Bible makes it clear God is the same - he wants very much for us to have a relationship with Him, but even if we don't he still loves us and watches out for us.

he wants very much for us to have a relationship with Him, >>> but even if we don't <<< - you indicate everything will be ok, even if you don't want a relationsip with Him - that's not what my Bible says in John 3 : 16...Hope this helps !!

Thanks for clarifying that - it's not what I mean to imply, as you'll know from my other posts! But I do think that God is still looking out for people who don't know Him - how else do we explain confusedgirl's initial observations, and the love of God as explained in the Bible?

I re-read your answer - I cannot see intent, I can see words - I think it would be the same for a person seeking - that is why I thought it was important...Take care !!

Here is a fun way to look at that phrase 'everything good comes from God'
God is good. He sets the standard. So whenever something good happens it is a reflection of God. Everything around you including yourself reflects the nature of God in some way, the same way a painting reflects the nature of the artiest who painted it. When you see good things happening to 'bad people' (and on this point womanofvirtue is SPOT ON) it is still a reflection of how God is.
