What do you think of the new tim mcgraw song "last dollar"

What does everyone think of the new Tim McGraw song "Last Dollar" I think it's great. It's soo... catchy. I think it's really sweet, and I can't get it out of my head. I've already incorporated it into my classes.

I like it, just because I'm such a big country fan and the song is so catchy. But, I looked at Colt's comments about it being suicidal and I guess if you read between the lines, it could be about suicide. Or it could just be about freedom. It's all about your perspective. I'm thinking that McGraw's perspective was definitely more optimistic, considering he had his young daughters help him to sing this.

I'm not a country fan / song kind of guy...I don't think I can name one country song - aside from this one

Though the title does sound familiar, is the last dollar a remake of another song, or a completely new one?

It's a completely new one, it goes "1-2-3 like a bird I sing, 'cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings" and his daughters are even in it, at the end. It's really sweet.

The song is abouy suicide. Nothing cute about it if you understand the lyrics. Wake up people and smell the embalming fluid. How low will some people go to make a buck? Colt

I know what you mean. I love the song too. I can't get it out of my head too. I am such a country fan myself. Tim McGraw is a great country singer. I have been to his concert before when he was in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the ASU Convencation center. What a concert that was? His new song Last Dollar is so amazing. It is cute and sweet too me.

Had a talk with the local radio station manager on friday. Didn't hear it today. Guess they did the decent thing and pulled it. It sure does stay in your head for a long time, doesn't it ? But then that is what it is supposed to do. If someone is suffering from depression that song could be enough to push them over the edge. Sick world isn't it ? Colt

The song has nothing to do with suicide.... It's about love.... and freedom.
