Tie dying one side

on an island Asked by greek3nny 9 months ago, 4 answers.

I have to tie dye a dress, but I can only do one side of it. It's going to be reversable, so only the one side can have the tie dye on it. How can I do this?

No. its made out of fabric. Like, it's a homemade dress thing. It's thin.

You're going to have to dye it, then insert a liner that will be the colour you want when you reverse it - there's not much chance of dying only one side of the fabric, since dye soaks through the fibres.

if its just the one whole dress, thern you cant
first off not all fabrice can be dyed on ot tye dyed
and secondly the dye will go staright through to the other side
if the dress is double sided, and the fabric has bveen folded over so theres 2 sheets of fabric making the dress, then it will go through both sides
youll either need to take off the other hal of the dress and sew on another peice of babric in the same pattern
or sew the same pattern of fabric onto the inside of the dress, which will make it heavier and probably more uncomfortable
