Thorn in leg

well my mum got a thorn stuck in her leg earlier while walkin the dogs. she took it out but it got painful and there is a lump there. it really hurts her to walk on that leg and even hurts when she does weight bear on it.
is there anything wrong do you...

think? or is this normal because im kinda worried???

She needs to go to her doctor, the thorn could have caused an infection (plants are clean ya know), or it could have been poisonous.. It should not be hurting her that bad.

It should be so bad that se can't walk on it. It was probably poisonous. Better to go see a doctor.
