Thinking about a new cell phone, what kind should i get?

I want to buy myself a new cell phone (I have ATT) but I'm not sure which to get.
I kinda like the Shine by LG, it looks cool. any ideas?

the new Iphone 3G is kool,plus it will be more affordable.

dont get the iphone they are over priced and break very very easily. The Lg shines are awesome my friend had one but his dad accidentally washed it. I would go with the silver one or the black

def the curve in red its sooo pretty and a pda phone is wonderful for txting etc and there are super chic...I have a palm centro in pink and I LOVVVEE IT it plays music and it even has a touch screen and it takes better pics than my digital camera plus you can draw on pix after you take them...it hass sooo much to offer...

I'm very accident-prone and kinda clumsy. if I like drop the LG Shine or somethin, would the screen scratch? does it scratch easily?

the blackberry curve is cute, but it looks a little big for like regular talking. is it? and I have a plan for my current phone, wud I be able to change my phone without interfering with the plan? one more thing: for ATT, how much does texting cost? cause my dad already like flipped when I ran up the bill a little (accident! but not from texting...yet). I heard it's like $0.20 a text, even if you recieve one(if you open it), is that true?

last thing: to use like the cool functions for the shine and blackberry, like music and games, does it cost extra? I heard that it costs money (for ATT) everytime you play a game, it that true?

depends wha you want... if you text a lot I suggest getting a keyboard.. it is SOOO muc more convenient... the pantech duo slides uo like the LG shine but also out into a keyboard... that might work for you...
