The legend of zelda : majora's mask secret path ?

I heard in majora's mask , there's a secret path to the observatory , is this true ? I've looked inside , but all I've found is a chest with 100 rupee's in it

The only secret path I know of is the one that you have to take when your deku link at the start...but thats not really secret

the only secret path I can think of is through the washing pool on the third day but its not really worth using it unless you have the 500 rupee wallet as all it gives you is a white rupee (500 rupees)
