Adam Gontier-love the deep voice
Chester Bennington-he can hit some HIGH notes!

There are too many to list, but Emilie autumn is the first that comes to mind, so I'll give her the credit she deserves.

I LOVE Nirvana, and I really enjoy listening to Kurt Cobain sing, but if you think about it, he really isn't vocally talented. I don't think he should be considered a 'best vocalist', but maybe a 'preferred vocalist'.

I love that list up there. but I would add meynard james keenan (tool and a perfect circle), layne staley (alice in chains), lacey mosley (flyleaf)... I cant think of any more right now o zakk wylde! lol

steven tyler has the most AMAZING voice!

kurt cobain (nirvana) doesn't have the best voice, but there's just something about it that attracts people so I have to give him a lot of credit. Nirvana rocks!

Robert Plant in his prime was unbeatable.
David Bowie...often overlooked. Very powerful voice and wide range.
Michael Jackson...I know...I never liked him, but he's got that rare male soprano capability.
Klaus Nomi...Not well known as he was one of the first musicians to die from aids in the early eighties. Ex-Opera singer, incredible range...look on youtube...

Those aren't in any order...probably a tie...except for the michael jackson...he lacks a wide range...is only soprano.

Really? how can this conversation even happen without mention of Freddie Mercury? He is the greatest of all time uncontested. Granted, some of the names mentioned are very good vocalists, but really...Listen to a Queen album and you'll see what me and everybody else in the world means. haha.
