Telling people about god

I try and I try to tell people about God and help them get saved. I invite people to church using facebook. I ask in person. I ask about 150 a week. I always get one new person each week to hear the word. I am trying...what more can I do?...People need...

to know about him before it's to late.

not everyone wants to know about him and I hope you arent doing it here...

I dont like people trying to change others or trying to tell them there is or isnt a god... its a personal choice to believe, and it should stay personal...

I'm sure God sees your effeort, and I bet that he's pleased =] but you've got to understand, not everyone wants to believe! - that's why God gave us the choice of free will, instead of trying so hard to bring them to Christ, pray for them instead! or pray for yourself so that God may use you to save others in his own ways (:

dear god...your giving Catholics and Christians a bad name everywhere... pray for yourself and leave the rest of us out of it...

no I am not doing that on here. I only ask my friends. and yes for now I think prayer is all I can do. and I never force someone to hear about him ever. it is always there choice. always.

I think your doing all you can, and that's all God ask's.
I think what your doing is wonderful, although I do agree you shouldn't push people.

Just don't push it on people. I can understand you wanting to share your beliefs however many have had it constantly throne at them. I know I have. And the simply have different beliefs or don't believe in anything and that's okay. Study into the history of your religion and how it developed so you can have Better understanding of it.

from my perspective telling people about this god is viewed as typical cult behaviour.
something we can experience at peace rallys, airports, we can find literature in motels, etc. there are a few reasons why organized religions want someone to witness to others- MORE MONEY topping the list.
someone telling me about a fictional god is the same as me telling you I saw a leprecaun stealing my dogs food this morning- most people do not want to hear about something that can not be proven.
so if it were up to me- I would say keep the god thing to yourself- you said you never force anyone to hear it- but you do not give them the choice if you just pop in and say something about being saved- that has been my experience, christians just drop it on you, and then say your blood will be on my hands if I don't tell you

I am so tired of this- I don't want to hear it- it is not my beliefs, and I say this RESPECTFULLY- please keep it to yourself- unless approached by someone- or asked for your opinion.

ok I understand all your replys but I never push it on people. I guess my question was stupid. but throwing at people is not smart. I understand that it is there choice always. I usaully talk to my friends aboiut it if they bring it up or we have been friends awhil. I never just blurt it out to random strangers. so some of your replys are pretty negative though I should of been more specific. as far as before it is to late, the bible says to be disciples. Truthfully, we are to do what we can to tell others about Christ. And yes there will mountains of opposition to that end. We are not called to live a comfortable life but are told and commanded to go and tell anyone who'll listen about Christ. The best way though is to live out your faith on a daily basis to show others that your life resembles the One in which you tell them. People don't care about how much you know until they know how much you care. Think about this statement. Keep on.

Why does an omnipotent god need your help? Have you ever thought of it like that?

well saying how some people are clueless really isnt helping you
some people dont beleibve I god
they dont beleive in heaven
and they really couldnt give a damn about what religiouse people belive in
there not going to waste there life or time on the subject
other people beleive in other religions and other gods
ones that have nothing to do with cristianity
aand ones that worship something completely different
so dont assume that cristianity is the only thing people want to beleive in
because its not

ok yes I completely understand that people don't want to hear about him but so many need to. I will never force it on them but I am sick and tired of knowing that so many people die and aren't in heaven with me. maybe I dont know but I am pretty sure they dont want to go to hell. God gives everyone a choice all I want to do is live a chirstian life style and peoole want to know about him then I will tell them. I wont force it on them just tell them if they ask. I just want them to be happy and if making people get aggrivated at me helps them be happy forever then its worth the risk . I can only do so much. I am not forcing it on any one of you answering this question. I only asked a question your the ones who wanted to come answer it. I dont really know what I mean. But God is who I live for.

yes there is. that just happens to be a big one becasue he saves us from there. He died from the cross for every person. that is a big thing to do. no that is not the only reason. I dont know how I would get through a day without him in me. He answers all my prayers and helps me through the big challeneges in life. He is a loving God and is alwasy there. When no one else listens he is there.

just remember that not everyone beleives in god
or heaven and hell
so saying that there going to hell does nothing, because they dont beleive in it
people belive in a lot of other things that can happen when they die
reincarnation, we stay here as spirits/ghosts, go to another planet, just die, ect
there are many different veiws on what might happen
heaven and hell sre just 2 choices in a list of hundreds of others
many of which arnt related to and god or religion

well I totally get what your saying. people believe in so many different things. but that doesnt change the truth. they choose not to believe in it and that's fine.The point of telling people about him is to let them finally know the truth. of course I know people dont believe or I wouldnt be witnessing. telling them there going there does do nothing but telling them they have a choice of God does something.

You're thinking in black and white, and it's not that simple. Many Christians see life as coming down to a choice: do I follow God, or do I not? They think either a person chooses God, or they choose to reject God. Any choice other than their brand of Christianity is rejecting God. It's not that simple, especially when you look at the complexities and influences facing billions of people throughout the world.

Had you been raised in a different environment, your religion and way of life would be radically different. God had nothing to do with it. You can't expect people to take you seriously, when you claim such reasoning as truth.
