How do you read tarot cards?

ok so I know tarot cards are used to tell your future, what lies ahead, all that lovely stuff. But can someone tell me how you read them? What kind should you get? I want to get some and try it with my friends just for fun, any info you have on them would be great!

you will need to get a tarot book to know how to read them, I have seen egyptian tarot decks, native american decks, you name it. usually the cards come with a book explaining them.
it usually takes tarot readers a while to learn what all the cards mean, then you have to put them into context of the person you are reading.
so I guess that the type of deck you buy is up to you, since you will be just doing it for fun.
I have seen some decks and books at barnes and noble- pretty much any book store should be able to hook you up.

no that is easy when you bie the cards it will come with a book and it will tell you everything you need to know then you will rem. it , it gets a lot easier lol
