Telephone numbers that start with 02.

I keep getting calls from someone who's number starts with 02 at strange times. Mostly in school, classes etc. I was wondering what area's of the world have phone numbers that start with 02, both mobile and homephones.

Well I am not sure where you are from but all United States telephone numbers start with a three digit area code and they cannot start with a 0. You can get weird numbers when people call from Skype, use a phone card, call internationally, use a phone bank (such as Military) or use some sort of computer generated calling. Think about who you would know that could be using any of those. I would start with either Military or International people. They may not realize what time it is so they may be trying to get you at all times during the day.

02 is mainly a number for Australia, for instance, the number for someones home in Canberra would be 02 9612 2423. 02 is the international dialing code for Australia.
