It's actually a REALLY BAD IDEA to use wrecking balm or any other cream like that. It's not really cream, it's acid. My friend used it last year for a few months and it didn't remove her tattoo at all but it did leave a nasty scar on top of the tattoo. Most tattoo studios won't put a tattoo over a scar, and most laser places won't laser a tattoo that's underneath a scar, so if you usa a cream and it scars you, you're screwed. I started laser tattoo removal at a clinic called Dr. Tattoff in April of this year. They have three clinics in Southern Californa. I've had four treatments and my tattoo is over halfway gone. It's not cheap, but it's the only thing that really works. If you don't live in Southern California, you should ask your local dermatologist about removal. Either way, the Dr. Tattoff website has a lot of information about laser tattoo removal, so you might want to check it out. If you google "laser tattoo removal" or "Dr. Tattoff" they're the first ones to come up.
