Is a tattoo of my husband's name a good gift?

I want to get a small tattoo w/ my husband's name inside a small heart for his birthday he is gone right now training to leave for Iraq so I will have time to get it and have it healed and looking nice. Now some people tell me thats bad luck to get someone's name on you. I'm Catholic and do not believe in divorce and love this man with every cell in my body. Men and women is this a good gift and do you think he would enjoy it and should I do it ?

well it's really up to u, & what you feel happy about..........& about the whole 'bad luck' thing, it's not true to most couples because it depends on how much love there is in the relationship. if u'r really in love with your husband & feel lk you guyz are going to be together forever, then go for it. just to what makes you happy.............( I hope this helps)

As long as you ask the people who do the tattoo if they also cover them up or remove them then I don't see why not..... I think that it would be very special for him to see how much you love him everyday!

In my opinion I wouldnt do it, becos I know you love him and he loves you, but anything can happen in the next 20 years! maybe get a loveheart or some love sign to show how much you care. But if your heart is set on it then go for it.

it was my first I thought I would cry lol
but I was fine and its really pretty its aheart w/ an arrow
trhough it and a scroll across it w/ his name
