India will not be a super power by 2020. China on the other hand will be one and will soon over power the strength of the U.S. due to the fact that we are importing so much from them that they are gaining a lot of money and they will soon use that money to develop a strong military.
So, i disagree with India becoming a super power in 2020.

no one knows what will happen tomorrow let alone in 2020, but i doubt if india will be a super power.

india will most certainly not be. not developing to the extreme rate as china, which yes rosy79 is correct could possibly overtake the usa. but there is an arguement that languages wud mean that the us as the main superpower will remain.
