Still bleeding 5 weeks after medical abortion

I had a medical abortion 5 weeks ago (I was 7 weeks pregnant then).

1. The day after I took the pill, I had heavy clots for a day or two and since then have very light bleeding(so less that I don't soak a regular pad in three days). The check...

up after the second week was normal. Because I am still bleeding, I went for another ultrasound last week and the results were normal.

Does taking a birth control pill stop this bleeding and help get me back to my regular cycle? I've never used these pills.

2. I also notice milk out of my breasts sometimes. Is this normal?

The milk from your breasts is normal, your body is still believing it is pregnant and preparing you for it, this will eventually stop.

The pill should even everything out, providing there are no other complications, but you should speak to your doctor about it just to make sure.

How do you know she didn't accidently fall pregnant after being on birth control? Or what if the baby had a birth defect. She only asked a question and you jumped down her throat.

wow!! anyways the bleeding is normal you could be having the misscarraige basically then also have you regular period included but just to be safe see the doctor if it gets worse or if it doesnt get better... The pill will help get back on track if thats the case...

I dont like putting it out there, but the guy I was with for 2years, we conceived a baby, some stuff went wrong and we had to do the whole A word. I bled for about 2-3 weeks, some clotting, mainly towards the end. The milk thing happened to. it leaked freely for awhile my mother told me to wear tighter bras. I still to this day for some reason leak if my boobs a squeezed, I honesly dont know if that normal, but I havent really asked the doctor. But that is something you probably go talk to you doctor about.

And don't let people judge you. THEY DON'T KNOW YOU OR YOUR SITUATION.
