Stick shift q

Are all Volkswagons ( spelling wrong I know!) stick shift? and If so is there anyway that after I bought the car I could get it changed?

No, not all of them are.
A large amount of them seem to be though.
You could get one changed over to an automatic, but thats such an expensive process that it would cost more than what the car would ever be worth resalewise, so its better off to learn to drive stick, so you could then drive any vehicle if need be.

Problem my mom is refusing to let my 1st car be stick! Oh the joys of being 16!

Well thats really stupid of her. I think it should be a law worldwide that everyone has to be taught (except handicapped) to drive a damn stick.

I agree... But then she would have to teach me how to drive it, or let my friend. And she has already told me she has no intrest in teaching me, and I am not going out driviing with a 22yr old guy she doesnt know.!

I would tottally vote for that law!
