If I ever do have kids, definitely a working mother, I would go crazy if I couldnt go out and see other people. My mother worked outside of the house till I was10, then both my parents worked from home, and it was kinda nice to have them home, but a measure of freedom would have been nice...

Mmm in my opinion it would depend on the type of work, it's nice to have a part-time work, so you can be there for you son when he needs you, because if you stay at home 24/7, you're going to start getting bored, and over obsessed with your son, and like driving to his school jsut to check on him, and you'll see that everyone (like your friends and people around you) are doing sth with there lives, working etc, and you are just staying at home waiting for you kid to get home. Hope it helps...
