Start off the school year right

This sucks... Asked by popcornkernel about 1 year ago, 4 answers.

My younger sister is going into grade 10! She is quite shy but has a great personality. What advice can I/you give her to be more confident, and energetic when socializing?

I'm practically in the same situation. 10th grade, kinda shy, not a lot of confidence... I'm blessed enough to have friends there though. But tell her to just give it a shot. Say hi to whoever she has to sit next to or something. I think once I get used to a place, it's easier for me to get used to the people and start talking to them. Maybe it's the same for her. Even if she doesn't reach out, don't worry, she will make friends soon just because there are always those nice kids who want to welcome you to the school. lol. She just has to be herself and know that it's not her problem or concern if people don't like or accept her for who she is. Hope she makes some new friends! :]
