Spouses who are christian taking photos of each other

Asked by fau about 1 month ago, 3 answers.

Would it be wrong for a husband or a wife to take pictures of each other while they're nude? Just wondering, and hoping for some christian perspectives, because I'm not sure what it says about stuff like this in the scriptures.

If you have any question about it, it's usually a sin =P
- if it's something that one of you really wants and would be unhappy if they couldn't do it, then it's kinda like your duty and one of the purposes of marriage to keep each other happy/sexually satisfied so you aren't tempted to stray... in which case it would be okay, I think =P though this wouldn't extend to things that were obviously sins like prostitution and whatnot.
- putting stock in material things / spending time/money on things - when it takes away from doing Christ's work etc or gives the wrong impression on others, can be considered sinful. However if it is just a little thing for fun and not a huge production, it doesn't seem harmful

These are just some things I can see some stricter Christians that I know saying, based on other non-sexual questions of the same nature (like is it appropriate to go to the Prom etc ). Obviously it is possible for the pictures to fall into the wrong hands, either by snoops or accident, so you would have to weigh in the consequences of that... may not be worth the risk. If you take the Christian part out of this question though, absolutely it's appropriate =P GO FOR IT and have a good time!
