Hi,
OK well first of all, anytime you start birth control it will knock your system out of whack. Your body needs to adjust to having regulated hormones, and will not always level out immediately.
The thing that makes me nervous is the pins and needles feeling behind your nipples. This sounds like it could be an adverse reaction to the Pill. I would suggest calling your Doctor and just asking if this is a normal side effect, he or she may want to switch your brand of Pill, which may also help the spotting.
Answer this Question: "How can I stop this spotting after my period?"

How can I stop this spotting after my period?
Send me Fun Mail
I started taking desogen again Thursday, April 19 after being off it for several years. Everything seemed fine with this first pack. Instead of waiting until Thursday, May 17 to start a new pack, I started it on Sunday, May 13 hoping to not start my period. I started on Monday, May 14, and it was very heavy and painfull. I thought it stopped on the 17th, but I continued to spot for days. I'm still spotting now on Monday, May 28. This entire time my breast have hurt very badly and are a size larger. Feels like pins and needles behind my nipples. I plan to start a new pack after I finish the active pills in this one if this is safe and will help me get back on track. I hope to stop this spotting and skip my cycle in June. I think maybe I messed up, and doing this will help. Answers???
