The Spanish culture and people are awesome!! But why others hate spansih people just comes doen to racism

because they are annoying they try to act gangsta they walk around here with their green cards and speak their annoying language and commit a lot of violence. studies shows the drug percentage of teenagers and out of the white,black,etc spanish teenagers has the highest percentage of drug use. it's not that I hate spanish people but they need to get their act together.

Sometimes it can be more personal as to why some people hate a specific race. It can be psychological. For example, if a person had a conflict with someone who was spanish and they felt a lot of anger and rage for that person at that time, it can trigger something in their mind to be angry at all spanish people because they start to believe that they are all the same. and ps...not all spanish people are here illegally. Puerto Rico for example is a US owned territory. Furthermore, may I remind you that when we were in the midst of World War I, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, and other various Latin countries were drafted into the war and while defending OUR country, were discriminated against by our own WASP bred citizens. Ay you know 'Spanish' isnt a race dont you? Its latin, and why would you ask that question anyway? I'm latin and nobody hates me, I mean sure I get judged every now and then, but still I only get that from dumbass predjudice people that dont know me or have ever met me, just cause I wear or own somethin nice, dont mean I stole it!

a lot of disrespect towards the spanish race comes from the disrespectfulness of them using another lang against those that dont know it. Spanish should be used around spanish. Also if you are here and cant speak english...you should learn it...this is the american-english culture. Im not trying to be mean or anything. Just like if we were to go to mexico and speak english around those that cant understand it. Some would think it was rude...or that the english were talking about them. That's how we feel sometimes.

I don't think it has to do with hate!.it's more to do with our own culture if you don't mix then surely this is why confusion sets in.May be we could set up culture clicks where by we get together as friends and teach one another our own cultures.What do you say ???

Guess what everyone, Spanish people, Asian, African American, etc... did not choose to be who there are, it was GOD who made that decision, he felt it was a beautiful thing to create different people, so why would you see yourself any better than someone else? You don't need to blame the world's problems on one race, because there are a lot of low-lifes in all races! Maybe those are the ones you should be haten' especially those of your own race...

There is no real reason why, since 'hispanic' Is a mixure of spaniard ( Europeon and muslim backgrounds ), African, and native american ( descendents, from orientals who came across beringia ) For crying outloud they are a mix of muslims, orientals, indians, white, and black people.

I live I Spain and I am half English and Iranian ,

I dont think you are spanish irishtomboy, or you are not really in full understandng of the culture. Being spanish is awesome, and Yes people hate on us sometime. But everybody hates on everybody, even white people get hated on, FRENCH people too. The truth is being spanish is fu*(*&ing cool, we got great music, amazing food, and the best party by far. YOu shouldnt coward in the corner form your heritage instead
assimilate to the american culture but dont disintegrate your heritage, is perhaps pnr of the greatest things you posses.

I'm actually VERY proud of my heritage even the spanish side(yes I am spanish, not full blooded but still spanish) that's why I'm asking if anybody could help me learn more about the culture so I could have a better understanding of it. and I'm not ashamed of my spanish side either.

I know why some people hate the Spanish---the same reason some people hate the Nazi's---the Spanish perpetrated and are still perpetrating one of the most horrible genocides in all of history--against the indigenous people of the Americas--google the Taino massacre and then follow the links to all the other massacres---Maybe the Spanish people of Mexico and South America have some Karma for what they have done and for what they are doing now---maybe they should get there asses back to Spain and let the natives have their rightful lands back
