How can i get my email back after being hacked?

someone hacked my email id and changed its account info and password.
hw can I get my password back as it has got my importand and confidential mails. please help me hack my account back.

You will need to contact your email provider and explain your situation.
You will also most likely need to provide certain means of identification to
prove that you are in fact the owner of that email account.
