Smoking pot responsibly

Asked by fau about 1 month ago, 8 answers.

So I was answering a question, and someone disagreed with me. I was wondering your opinions. I personally think that people are able to responsibly smoke pot. I'm not at all encouraging people to smoke it, its just a statement. There are all these people who think its so bad because they think it controls peoples lives. Some people let pot control their lives, because they smoke it irresponsibly. My sister has let pot completely change her, but I still know for a fact a lot of pot smokers aren't like that at all. You'd be amazed. Its just like anything else though, like alcohol. It isn't addicted unless you over use it. Like having a glass of whine occasionally appose to having a bottle of beer everyday.
Whats your opinion? Do you believe some people responsibly smoke pot?

I didnt smoke it till I was about 35. Thankfully... lol, I don;t think I could have handled it aas a teen.. I'd have been homeless very quickly! I enjoy it now recreationally and so do half the people I know.

Yes, you can smoke marijuana responsibly. It can be psychologically addicting but so can anything, including cheeseburgers or internet use.

That being said, it's a myth that cannabis smoke is less toxic than tobacco smoke. Cannabis smoke actually contains more toxins which cause the same effects of inflammation and cancer. It's just that your average tobacco smoker inhales larger volumes of smoke than your average cannabis user.

I don't see smoking marijuana as a healthy habit, and it's medicinal benefits are really exaggerated, especially when you compare them to prescription drugs. It's purpose is recreational only. However, as with tobacco, alcohol, and anything else, I believe it should be a person's choice if they want to use this substance, and if used it should be done responsibly.

GIRL I NEVER SMOKED BEFORE TILL A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, NOT EVERYBODY THAT SMOKES POT DO STUPID SH*T, I STILL TAKE CARE OF MY KIDS , CLEAN MY HOUSE, COOK 3 MEALS A DAY, AS LONG AS YOU DON'T SMOKE IN FRONT OF THEM THEN IT SHOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM, I DON'T LET IT CONTROL MY LIFE YOU KNOW?

If used it should be done responsibly , lol. People talk about it like its a drug, lol. Cigs and beer should have been outlawed way before weed. Without pot I would probably be dead or in jail, and thats no jjoke. Its the only thing that calms me down, because I used to do some crazy sh*t. And weed mellowed me right out. I don't even go over the speed limit when im high because its a drug that makes you want to avoid confrentation. I don't encourage people to smoke, it does put a dent on your wallet and a little hazardous to your health. But I laugh when people call it a drug because I don't consider it to be. If everyone just smoked weed, no beer, no meth, no coke or crack. the world would be a much safer place, when was the last time you got in trouble drunk, for me it was last weekend. The only time I almost got in trouble for smoking was when I has to pass a p*ss for a job, and I passed and kept smokin.

Dont smoke at all Ah!! Blah!!! It really sucks for me bc I grew up as a pot head. Not to suggest that it has addictive traits? or whatever? but it does, It mostly effects appetites though, and in the past few weeks I've had loss of appetite due to a seperated shoulder, and even thogh I havent took more than a couple puffs in the last couple years, I've craved it. One of these days ill be self medicating again. Just remember, too much of anything isa no gooda for ya!

I think you can smoke pot reponsibly . there are a lot worse things than pot.. the only reason it is not legal is because the goverment cant put a tax on it ! cigrets are worse for you than pot is ... belive it or not but a controlled amount of pot is actualy good for you. when you are in intense pain docters give it to you in a form of a pill ... and it is a fact you can not get addicted to it it is the only 'drug' that has no physical withdraws you can realy like getting high but cant get addicted to it so yes you can smoke it responsibly
