By skipping meals your body actually gains more weight..

Think of it like this..
When you are not consistent with your meals, your body is never sure when the next time it will get nutrition.. So it stores what ever it does get when you eat.. When it stores it.. Its stored as fat. The best way to loose weight is to eat small portions throughout the day.. to train your metabolism.

There are many opinions on skipping meals and correct ways of dieting.. But I strongly believe skipping meals will only hurt you, rather than help you!

Well in the beginning it will but after a while of skippung mealls it won't matter. You'll just start gaining the weight right back. And its not to good for your body to skip meals. But if you want to lose weight. Just eat healther and don't eat so many snack in between meals. And not eat past 9 p.m.. It's worked for me.

No way. Like ash said, skipping meals just makes you gain weight.

To reiterate what ash said, when you skip meals, your body goes into starvation mode. It gets scared. It doesn't know what's going on, why you're not feeding it, and when it's next meal is going to be. So your metabolism slows down. Your body starts burning fewer calories in an attempt to conserve energy. That means that when you do eat, your body is going to store it and try to hold onto it rather than burning it off.

If you want to lose weight, you should be eating more often, not less often. Eating more often will keep your body happy and your metabolism fast. Your body won't be afraid to burn those extra calories. You should be eating about six small meals a day.
