Skin problems

Okay, anyone ever heard of this thing called

Keratosis pilaris?

Its when a gene in your skin gets mutated and instead of having soft skin, you have rough, blotchy, red bumpy skin

Look it up and youll see on images

But I have it and I hate...

it. My skin doesnt produce the oil to get rid of those dead skin cells which causes build-up, and makes my skin bumpy. I cant totally ever fix it and it will never go away, but I can treat it. Anyone else there have it and what can I use to treat it?

According to wiki you're not alone... Worldwide, KP affects an estimated 40% of the adult population and approximately 50%-80% of all adolescents. It is more common in women than in men. I actually have that on my upper arms, didnt ever bother me though. Seems to get better in the sun...

Yes, it does get better in the sun. The dermatologist also told me that.
