How will they know its you? They couldnt unless you told thm=em your telling. And the best solution is to tell the police. No matter what. Dont risk your life though, tell the police, even if you dont have enough evidence, its like this... If they are good cops and do their job they will investigate.

You already know it would be dangerous - it would be wise not to put yourself in that position - find a safe way to lend support...Take care !!

lil bunny, if you ask if you should risk your life to save them, then you go into a tizzie because they might figure out it's you. Are you bogus or is your story bogus? It's NOT the job of an 18 yo to break up prostitution rings. Go to the police.

Whoa...

Seriously, I think you need to go to the police, who will alert Interpol - they are unlikely to do anything at a local level. Remember, if you do do this, you are going to end up in the same situation as them and be forced to do the same things - as much as you care about these girls, do you really want that to happen to you, with possibly no way of getting out yourself? Really the best solution if you want to help the girls, is to alert the Police, and let them know that you'll be willing to act as 'bait' with a wire/surveillance so that the second the Police have hard evidence they can nab the people involved, bust up the ring, get the girls out and stop this happening. But DO NOT do it by yourself.

I think you should go to the police. like you could be wired and find out these peoples intentions.

Danbob's right- you've got to go to the police. For so many reasons:

You don't want to end up in the same situation as these girls. Don't try to be the superhero here by risking your life to do it. Police know how to handle these situations, and if you fear for your life, they can put you into protective custody. So even if it was found out that you revealed what is happening, you'd be safe.
What you need to think about is, what if you get over there, and you can't 'save' these girls? You'll be there to welcome the other girls who come in, and say to them 'Don't you wish you had just stayed home?' All in all, you will have achieved nothing. Going to the police is a much safer option.

Good luck to you, and please stay safe!

20/20 actually did a special on that a few years ago. . . it's sad and the authority can only do so much where international law is concerned.

ok look, you do not need proof in order to report them to authorities, you only have to tell the authorities that you have reaon to believe etc...and then lay it out for them, do not add to the problem by putting yourself in danger...and that is honest advice from a mother! Getting yourself hurt will not help anyone else...becoming an advocate and fighting from the safest distance posible is the right course of action.

I agree with danbob, if you go into this without police and interpol help then you are going to end up in the same position as these girls, because if they couldnt get themselves out then there is a very good chance that you will not be able 2 get your self out as well as the other girls, contact the police and then go in with a wire and police help, once you involved the police they will then alert interpol who will then inturn be able to help on international soil!
