NO, no one is getting hurt by this. Hopefully no one takes it to heart, either. If they dont like discussion and debate, then they can choose to not come on Fun Advice or to not look at the religion discussions. I have learned a lot from other people up here and it would be a shame to get rid of it bc some people cant take the heat. I could understand if it was just one particular group getting attacked, but it's everyone against everyone, so it's all good lol! it's healthy

You shouldn't. It may not be something you want to read. If you don't want to read it, don't. Others may enjoy debating and oftentimes do learn something in that debate. Maybe because I am so new here I shouldnt say anything, but I think it's still an issue of freedom of speech

It's tricky. Debating opinion is great. Learning from each other is possible. Asking for 'religious' advice is also valuable. But personal insults happen far too often. As a Christian, I'm upset to see some 'bad witness' there, where a few Christians abuse non-believers. I find that horrible. Obviously it goes on the other way round, too. But I would still like it to stay, with the understanding that people who go to far into personal insults will be warned.

People feel strongly about religion. Things are going to get out of hand from time to time. In even the most heated discussion some good information is exchanged. I certainly would hate to see the religion category.

I think it's a great place for people to have healthy debate, and it's usually pretty well monitored. Questions are locked before they get nasty most of the time happy

No, I'm against censorship - it's a legitimate topic.

If a tree falls in the woods and no one around to hear it, does it make a sound?

In other words, if it doesnt effect your life in anyways, it's sort of a moot point yes?
