Should i stop dating?

yup thats me... Asked by hopelessromantic about 1 year ago, 4 answers.

I am sick of women I always get hurt. I feel so weak and I never understood how anyone can kill a persons soul by dating them, but trust me my soul is dead, I can feel anything anymore, and I don't know what I should do I mean couple girls I know want to...

date me... and one of my ex's wanted to date me... issuse being that I don't know if I should date again or stay singal, I mean I just got out of one girl... she and I not meant to be but I am sick of looking I don't think I want to date untill someone I really want comes along and has same personality I do...

What do you think?

Dude listen to my words, I am your typical run of the mill nice guy, which means nearlly every girl I have ever liked has walked all over me so I know how you feel. But You gotta keep plugging along. I just got dumped by my Fiance after two years of dating, and guess what she did with the ring I gave her? She pawned it, now this all happened about two weeks ago but just yesterday I had a job interview and while I was there I got the phone number of a georgeous Raven haired beauty name Amanda, now am I going to call her back? Damn skippy I am, the point of this story is that if you need to spend some time on the bench then go ahead, do what you gotta do but be prepared to get back out on the playing feild when your ready cause beleive me. You can't stay single forever, that bench starts to get lonely and depressing.

why should I (or anyone else) respect you when you don't respect yourself. there is nothing wrong with looking out for yourself, and you can still be a nice guy without taking so much sh*t. whatever you want from other people, demand it. don't accept anything less than what you deserve. it says something about you that you are always getting hurt... like you are letting it happen.

Just to follow on from the previous responses and putting what meganhead said in a slighly different way, ,

How can you expect others to like you when it sounds that you don't even like yourself at the moment?

What I mean when I say this is that women will sense how you feel about yourself from your body language, what you say to them and how you say it.

Do you have a friend who is a girl that you can talk to and ask them to be totally honest to you?

If so, ask her, as a girl what she feels are your good and not so good points. Dont get into an arguement about it just listen and make notes.

Just quickly polish up your good points and believe in them. Look at your not so good points and see how you can work on them to improve them.

You are not going to tick all the boxes for every woman but it can only help by addressing some of your weaker aspects.

You also need to look at ways of boosting your self confidence and maybe self esteem. (Unless of course one of your weaker points is over confidence)

Don't expect women to make it really, really obvious that they like you. Look for the subtle signals that they may want you to start a conversation with them.

What some women want is a guy that has confidence. A guy that can see them, want to start a conversation and in that moment, be able to walk over and actually start an interaction with them.

You really cant bracket anyone but some women looking for a guy may want you to be able to interact with them in a way that:

Builds their interest
Is funny and interesting
Includes flirting
Creates sexual tension

You say you are looking for a woman who has a similar personality to yourself. To find that out you need to get to know a woman first. Also, there is some truth in the old saying that 'opposites attract.'

It is natural that your previous experiences with women would hurt and nock you back pretty hard but many people, guys and girls, go through this.

Dont look at these as problems but as opportunities to improve yourself.
