My cat, Dopey Asked by kittyluck about 1 year ago, 14 answers.

I only have 2 female chihuahuas. 1 is a 2 month old toy chihuahua that is a blondish color and the other one is 3 month old teacup chihuahua that is like paris hiltons dog. They are original chihuahuas

Always put some value to your pup, unless you have someone in mind...someone you KNOW will give it a good and loving home. If you put no value on it, then someone who takes it, may not either. $50 is an ok price...just to test the waters.

I'd be darn picky about who got a pup from me.

I belong to several humane clubs one being ASPCA. They say that you should always ask for money for any pet, even if it's only 50 bucks. Reason? because people looking for any kind of dog will often go get free dogs or steal them from cars and back yards, to what's called bleed their pits for fighting.

Bleeding means that they allow their pit to tear the dog up, kill it in order to get the pit ready for fighting.

I know this is awful, but it is a fact. So never never give a pet away.

I also believe that if someone is just looking for a FREE puppy and they are NOT willing to pay even $50 then I would be questionable about the love and personal care (vet care included) that they will or should I say will not recieve.

I got all my dogs for free they were given to me by family and friends and I dont use them to breed, fight, or just to abuse them so people need to stop saying that free dogs are going to get hurt and what not so just stop with that and by the way I am finacially stable and do care for my dogs both physically, emotionally, and financially so please dont say that ok!!!

btw please do not take this so personal just saying what I know!! happy

darkrose, Of course you don't but someone you don't know might get one and do it. I know you wouldn't do that. But that happends all the time, everywhere.

if I could get one of your pups, I'd be very happy to pay you for it. I live in Seattle, WA is that close to you?

I always say you put a value on your dog. If you don't value you the people that get them may not either. I also think it weeds out people that can't care for them.

darkrose, this is not meaning all people that get a free dog don't care for it. It is just a standard to set.

Also lilc020, those are valuable dogs you have there.

I want them! I love chihahauas I use to have one. I think you can judge the people. a lot of people love animals and will take care of a free dog the same as if they paid 1,000 dollars for them.
