Should i get my nose and ear piercings done at once?

Asked by ilovealiciakeys about 1 year ago, 12 answers.

my birthday is commin up inna bit and I REALLY want a nose stud, cartilage peircing (stud), and a regular ear lobe peircing all done at once. I'm really scared of needles and even cry when I get shots at the doctors! but I really want them. I got my...

regular ear lobe done twice in the past and both times they got infected. now I think im old enough and more responsible to take care of it and clean it everyday. to me the pain wasn't so bad. it felt like a staple was going through my ear. now I want to have that done again and ALL of them done at the same time. I figure let me just get through the pain all at once... what do you think?

oh and im having it professionally done

Theres nothing wrong with getting them all done at once, but personally, I wouldn't want to. I think you should get your nose done, wait a week, then get your ears done. I remember when I got my nose done I wanted to go home and check it out and everything. I have seen someone get them all done at once though, its really up to you.

I think thats really smart of you to get through all the pain at once.it easier then having to go through it again and again. if your scared of needles just shut your eyes so you don't have to watch the needles. sometimes looking at the needles makes it more scary then it actually is. so shut your eyes and think of a happy place lol. it sounds stupid but it works. it will hurt a little bit but I no its nothing you can't handle.

I like your method but I dont think thats a good idea. its because certain organs and muscles tighten up when you get piercings and its not good for them. however, one piercing at a time wont affect them all that much. but more than that can cause more problems for other organs. I knew a chick that got several piercings on her ears all at once and she got some kind of kidney infection or something. so unless you want to end up like her, I say you get one piercing at once.

p.s happy early bday

I wouldnt get 2 ear peircings done at once, if I were you I would pick nose, and one part of the ear. because when I got my cartlige done it hurt REALLY bad, and I couldnt sleep on it. so if you get them both done, I would suggest doing it on a day that you dont have to go to school the next day, because im serious it hurt so bad that I couldnt sleep, and my mom took hers out because it hurt so much, but everyone has a different pain tolorance, it may not hurt you at all..

oh trust me I have a lot of expirence with peircings I have about 15 right now , many people say getting your peircings done with a gun is better . well sorry guys needles are . for one the hurt way less , also when you get it done with the gune it doesnt take the cartilage out it just pushes it back causeing that lump that usually shows up . which also usually leads to infection , anyways all im really trying to say is go for =)

Well recently I had got my industrial done. That's a bar going from one side of my ear the other... I didn't think any of my tattoos or piercings hurt. but it's not your age and if you take care of it, regardless you just have to make sure your skin doesn't reject the piercing itself.

I have 9 piercings, and it really doesnt matter if you get them pierced at the same time or different times, just when you get them at the same time, it is more work to take care of, because you are taking care of more than one piercing. Just be careful, take care of it, and try to avoid infection!

I had both of my tragus done, both helix, my eyebrow and the middle part of my ear on both sides for a total of 7 piercings, all at the same time. Yes, it hurt like hell but I went thru all the pain at once instead of going thru it each and every time. If I had to do it over again, I would do it the exact same way.
