Should i be afraid to get my tounge peirced??

I want my tounge periced so bad but im scared its going to hurt!!! help me please!!!

It depends on your pain tolerance.
I can handle pain, it didn't hurt for me.
They made me gargle Listerine before they did it, so my tongue was tingly, and I didn't feel the needle go in.
The next day I woke up and it was hurting a little bit and it was really swollen.
After a week or so, you start to get used to it.

Don't be afraid... there's honestly nothing to fear as long as you get it done professionally and take care of it. The painwill depend on how your personal pain tolerance is. It'll NEVER be unbearable though. If you notice any swelling after you get it done, don't panic. It's normal and won't last more than a few days. Tongue piercings don't make you look like a wh*re or skank and they don't mean you suck d*ck. Whoever started stuff like that is a complete idiot. Piercings are simply forms of body art and self expression. Guys and girls both can have them. They don't make you any more or less attractive than you already are and you WILL be able to get a job if you have piercings.

and most jobs consider facial piercings unattractive and unprofessional
also no profesional piercer is going to pierce a 13 year old childs tounge

if you wants it SO BADLY then you won't consider the hurt but the satisfaction knowin you're one of those that had their tongues pierced...

well sometimes you needa go threw pain to get what you want ^.^ if you reeeally want to get it then go and just do not think about it AT ALL

It does not hurt that bad. Just remember to relax while piercing. The more you think that it will hurt, then the more painful you'll feel. =]

im 15 and I got my tounge peirced like a year ago I have many peircings all my ear, my lip, my nose stomache and out of all of them the tongue for me was really painful I almost fainted no other peircing hurt this much. I even had this medication so I wont feal it but it still hurt a lot!

it sounds like it may hurt just a lil bit .. but you'll do fine ... everyone I nervous once in a while ... but its 1 2 3 done... its over before you know it hunn ... good luck !!!
