I wouldnt have it at my house. try to rent out a building for a night. thats wht im doing for my 16 b day party <333
if you respect your home and your parents, you'll go elsewhere! I know it's great to have a party in your own home, and it cool to be the centre of attention 'the day after' but really... in reality, regardless of your friends and the ones you trust, there will come others that have slightly less respect for your home or your posessions.
all I'm saying is, I appreciate you would like the 'do' but do you want one that much? if you do, and you get persuaded into having it, be very firm about who you let in, whats brought in, what goes out! and where people put their 'hand made gifts' if you know what I mean!
yeah, you definitely cant trust people at house parties...our wooden floors got completely ruined in drink stains and the net curtains in the bedrooms got covered in something else(it was a 21st so ehh use your imagination if you have to!!) and they broke the stereo etc...but anyway, your from the UK right??! I tought most people would rent out a pub or a building for a night, then bring their TRUSTED friends back for an after-party when the pubs close!!!..usually that ends well?
only if you invite me!! lol..yea..I guess it is possible just have it under control because it could get outta hand?
lol, you're all invited if somehow you can get over to the UK for a random party. I want to thank everyone for their advice anyhow, but I'm thinking I might have the party at my house but take extra precautions. plus I have a few months to plan it all out properly
![He's a little lad... that loves berries and cream. Lol. =]](http://images.funadvice.com/photo/image/78021/tiny/berries_and_cream_dude.jpg)

Should I have a big house party when I turn 18?
Heres the thing, I'm going to be 18 in a few months. The best thing to do is to have a big house party like everyone else, right? The only thing is, and I hate saying it, I don't know if I could trust everyone not to destroy everything in my house. This is only really come into effect because the last party I went to someone started running around with a deodorant can and a lighter. I mean, I know I probably can trust these people because they are my friends, but I just want to know what you would do?
