Why do people like to shop?

WHY DO PEOPLE...MOSTLY GIRLS LIKE TO SHOP???
IF ALL THEY DO IS SPEND $$$MONEY$$$
WHY DO THEY ENJOY IT SOO MUCH? AND WHY DONT I?
ITS SO BORING!!!

It's ok... I hate shopping... Its boring as hell. I dont understand it either, but people like new things.

maybe the giirls dontcare about spending a lot of money cuz they have a lot of it or its not there money there spending

I have no patience for shopping what so ever... I always want to finish it... So sometimes I end up buying wrong sizes mostly the jeans...they end up being for stick skinny people when I am like what medium framed you know not stick skinny.. so yeah.. the same with my shoes. Most girls shop for clothes more than anything else just to look good impress dudes... I am not down with that...Some simply are depressed so they shop like there's no tomorrow...one lady on Oprah spent $50,000 dollars or more in a month just for shopping... It goes over board lol. Most girls follow trends which is lame because every month there's a different trend going on.. chicks and dudes should be theirselves because trends never end and makes your money go down the drain..

not all girls like shopping ^^ we're all independient! I guess those who want to shop are really materialistic, or probably wants to be in a clique so they shop for more, better, prettier things. Maybe they feel if they don't look a certain way they don't belong. Anyways what i'm saying is that for every person it's different and your can't generalize ppl like that.

that's what i am saying, there's degrees... most like to impress some don't.. its on that person... ^^ agrees with above.

i don't spend a whole bunch.. but its fun.

I don't know why some people like to shop but I know why I like to. I reward myself. Especially when you order something from a catalog or online, when it comes in the mail it is like getting presents. Sometimes I have to shop for necessity. I always try to have fun no matter what I am doing. Shopping is also some well-deserved ME time. I can get away from the fast pace of my life. Shopping is relaxing for me.

I love clothes I love designer clothes how can you not!!! I love designer clothes like Hooch , mango, Bench, Golddigga, Fred Perry, Lacoste, Juicy Couture, Playboy and that. I love pink I love my Samsung blush mobile lol . I'm not into bags that much got 2 one going out one which is a pink with beads on really nice got it from spain and my other is a playboy bag.

I think celebrity clothes are a lot of money though I just wait till I get a job till I buy there sort of clothes.

Wow that was a really good question. I shop because I love new clothes like after I wear an outfit about 8 times it starts getting old...so then I go shopping and get new clothes! I love shopping and I don't think it's boring at all. I love trying on clothes and mix and matching. But I guess shopping isn't for some people.

hehe whatever..I could never give up shopping! I love it too much even though it costs moneyy
