Nair works amazingly. It doesn't feel good at first, but if you leave it on for just the right amount of time, it'll be fine awhile after you use it. I've been using Nair for almost a year now and it works great.

You should either sit in the tub for a few minutes or stand under the shower a few minutes. The warm water will soften the hair.

When you shave you should go with the direction the hair grows, but in my experience this doesn't get a very close shave.

There are also products that help fight razor bumps. Try Bikini Zone products. They have a shaving gel and they also have an after shave gel(medicated) that works wonders. Both of those are available at walmart... but you have to do a little searching. Sometimes it's with the nair and wax and sometimes it's with the shaving creams and men's aftershave.

Well, I had that problem once. Make sure your skin is clean, and wet. Shaving gel helps a lot. And try to use a new razor evey couple times you shave. Don't use the same one repeatidly. (sp?) But be careful, not to cut yourself, it could cause a serious infection, and shaving causes in-grown hairs. YUCK! I wax now, it's better and not as painful as you'd might think. Try that, but if razors the way to go for you, try the tips I've given. Hope they help. happy

blah24,
I used to have that problem. Some people would suggest waxing - but for us that don't like waxing, there is other alternatives. First of all, make sure you use A LOT of shaving cream, that will prevent that bumps a bit. And then hold a warm cloth on it after its shaved. The warmness will help the bumps go down. Hope it works for you, works great for me.
